On 8 October @M.A.R.E. TC FVG, as a partner of the European @LeaderSHIP project, will host

“Bridging Industry and Education for Europe’s Maritime Future: From Strategy to Action” in Trieste.

The event will focus on the future of skills, workforce development and competitiveness in the European shipbuilding and maritime technology sectors, building on LeaderSHIP’s work to support upskilling and reskilling, strengthen industry–education cooperation and contribute to a European sectoral skills strategy.

The event will bring together representatives from @OECD – OCDE, the @European Commission, @SEA Europe and stakeholders from Friuli Venezia Giulia Region to discuss how industry, training providers and policy makers can work together to address current and future skills needs.

Drawing on European and international perspectives, the event will open a dialogue with local stakeholders through a Policy Café coordinated by @Enaip Friuli Venezia Giulia, focusing on skills and workforce, the green and digital transition, competitiveness and policy action.

LeaderSHIP is an initiative of the Skills Partnership for Shipbuilding and Maritime Technology under the Pact for Skills.
